Unscheduled:

• May 28th: The link to WMU was down due to a power outage at the customer premises.
• May 16th: Due to a fiber issue in Östersund, an outage was observed on the fiber stretch between Östersund and Meråker.
• May 16th: Due to incorrect splicing, the link between Midskog - Östersund remained down after the fiber maintenance work performed under SUNET-2227. The splicing was later rectified and services were restored.
• May 13th: We experienced a fiber break between Nordmaling and Örnsköldsvik. The cable was accidentally damaged by guardrail installers while they were carrying out their work. The provider has now repaired the cable, and all services are up and stable.
• May 11th: The link between Nysäter and Sundsvall was down due to unannounced maintenance from the provider.
• May 6th:Provider har repaired some of the fiber issues found. Link is stable and services are restored. There are still some issues with the fiber that the provider will fix in a future maintenance.
• May 6th: The link between Kalmar - Bergkvara flapped due to a bent fiber and burnt connection. RFO in comment.
• May 6th: Connectivity for LHCOPN at the National Supercomputer Center (NSC) in Linköping was down due to a configuration issue.
• April 30th: The link between Kiruna and Rensjön was down due to a power outage at the site in Rensjön.

Scheduled:

• May 27th: Provider performed software upgrade in Göteborg. No outage was observed.
• May 27th: SUNET migrated some of the 10G connections on the core router tug-r1 to the SUNET-CD network. The remaining connections will be migrated during a later maintenance window.
• May 25th: Provider performed software upgrade that affected the customer connection to RISE in Linköping.
• May 25th: Provider performed software upgrade that affected the customer connection to RISE in Mölndal.
• May 21st: Provider performed software maintenance in Göteborg.
• May 21st: Provider performed fiber maintenance at TUG affecting the link to Karolinska Institute.
• May 20th: This was a reserve day in connection with the fiber maintenance scheduled for May 19, which was tracked under ticket SUNET-2254. We disabled RAMAN amplification on the stretch as we did not know if the window would be needed, however after clarifying it was not, we could re-enabled early.
• May 19th: Provider performed fiber maintenance in Huddinge, which affected the link between Stockholm - Huddinge.
• May 19th: Provider performed an emergency maintenance to repair an aerial optical cable. Services across the Trollhättan - Göteborg link were affected.
• May 15th: We are still observing the link between Midskog - Östersund as down after the completition of the fiber maintenance. We have created ticket SUNET-2262 to track this issue.
• May 15th: Provider performed software upgrade in Piteå.
• May 15th: Provider performed software maintenance in Karlskrona
• May 14th: Provider performed software upgrade in Luleå and Göteborg.
• May 13th: Provider performed software upgrade in Stockholm. No outages were observed.
• May 13th: Provider performed OTDR-measurements on the link between Kalmar - Bergkvara.
• May 12th:Emergency maintenance between Östersund - Krånghede was performed, and some of the fiber issues were repaired. The link is now stable and services have been restored. However, there are still some fiber issues that need to be resolved, which will be handled during an upcoming maintenance by the provider.
• May 12th: Provider performed software upgrade in Domsjö, Örnsköldsvik.
• May 11th: Provider performed cable maintenance on the fiber between Järpen - Meråker.
• May 8th: SUNET performed network maintenance to upgrade the connection for SOFI from 1G to 10G.
• May 7th: Provider performed planned cable rerouting maintenance between Malmö - Lund.
• May 6th: SUNET deployed active live monitoring units for all fiber stretches on the circuit going through Östersund. Troubleshooting of the fiber issue will continue under SUNET-2235.
• May 6th: Provider performed cable work on fiber stretches between Kimstad - Linköping and Linghem - Linköping.
• May 6th: SUNET performed emergency maintenance to restart an amplifier in Kalmar and restore it from a fault state.
• May 5th: Provider performed a software upgrade that affected the IP-VPN connections for RISE at Lindholmsallén 10 and Spjutvägen 5.
• May 4th: Provider has performed software upgrade on their router in Kristinehamn. This affected the IP-VPN customer connection, RISE at Öståsgatan 25.
