2024-07 Public Report

Unscheduled:

• July 25th: The outage was due to a power issue caused by lightning at the site.
• July 24th: The fiber between SUNET and SMHI in Norrköping was down due to a fiber outage. Fiber is repaired and services are restored.
• July 19th: There was a network issue to reach hosts that resided in MS Cloud which was later resolved.
• July 18th: Link down between Stockholm and Västerås was flapping due to human error by the third provider.
• July 17th: The link between Stockholm and Norrköping was down due to a higher attenuation.The signal level has improved without any intervention on the fiber and services have restored and are stable.
• July 8th: Link between Falun - Örebro was down due to error on FPC. Issue was cleared after restarting FPC.
• July 6th: Optical system in Arvidsjaur were unreachable due to power outage at the site.
• July 5th: Three minor alarms regarding fabric plane were reported. These alarms have no impact on services or routing.
• June 27th: The link between Östersund - Järpen went down due to unannounced maintenance work carried out by provider.

Scheduled:

• July 23rd: The management module in our optical node in Linköping was swapped. No outage observed.
• July 22nd: Our provider performed fiber maintenance affecting the fiber between Järpen - Östersund. No fiber outage was observed.
• July 18th: The provider performed emergency link maintenance between Kolstad and Linköping
• July 11th: The connection between MIUN and SUNET in Sundvall has been migrated over to new equipment.
• July 5th: SUNET migrate services in Göteborg over to SUNET-CD environment.
• July 1st: SUNET performed an emergency link maintenance to move connections to SUNET-CD in Västerås.
