SAML WebSSO Technology Profile

SAML WebSSO in SWAMID means that a user can use his user account at his own organisation to log into a Web service that is connected to the SWAMID identity federation. The SWAMID SAML WebSSO Technology Profile is based on the SAML profile SAML2int and the eduGAIN SAML Profile.

A service provider does not need to be a member of SWAMID to offer services in SWAMID but must fulfil the registration criteria described in 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 in the technology profile.
