Unscheduled:

• January 26th: We are closing this ticket as maintenance is already being tracked under ticket SUNET-2765.
• January 19th: Several services at the GBG7 site in Göteborg were impacted due to planned maintenance, which was communicated with an incorrect maintenance window by the provider.
• January 18th: The link between Stockholm - Visby was flapping due to faulty optics.
• January 16th: The link between Stockholm - Västerås went down due to a mishap during SUNET-2728.
• January 16th: The fluctuations were due to a faulty EDFA in Odensala. No further problems were observed after replacement.
• January 14th: The link between Kiruna - Rensjön was down due to a fiber break.
• January 13th: Link to Johannelunds teologiska högskola was down due to a power outage at customer site.
• January 12th: The link to SKH flapped for a few minutes. RFO unknown.
• January 12th: The router liu-r21 in Linköping was unreachable due to a power cable fire.
• January 11th: The issue was related to the fiber problem we had between Östersund and Järpen tracked under SUNET-2735.
• January 10th: The link between Östersund - Järpen was down due to fiber break.
• January 9th: We observed a signal degradation between Svappavaara - Junosuando. Following maintenance SUNET-2751, the provider replaced the fiber pair in Pajala, resolving the issue.
• January 9th: There was a city-wide power outage in the Orion data center (DCO). Battery backup power ran out and the facility experienced a complete power outage, as diesel backup was unavailable due to the extreme cold conditions at the time.

Scheduled:

• January 29th: SUNET deployed active live monitoring units for all fiber stretches on the circuit going through Sundsvall.
• January 28th: SUNET performed planned maintenance to carry out measurements on the link between Järpen - Östersund.
• January 28th: Provider performed link maintenance in Trelleborg, affecting the services passing through the TRL site.
• January 27th: Provider performed a fiber maintenance in Halmstad that affected several services traversing the HSD1 site.
• January 27th: SUNET performed a software upgrade on the CPE in Stockholm, affecting the link to FHS.
• January 27th: Provider performed fiber maintenance in Pajala that affected the fiber between Svappavaara - Pajala.
• January 22nd: SUNET moved back the wavelengths affected by an earlier issue between Uppsala and Stockholm to their original optical paths.
• January 20th: SUNET performed a software upgrade on a CPE in Stockholm, affecting the link to FHS.
• January 20th: The link between Uppsala and Odensala was impacted due to a card issue in Odensala. The faulty components were replaced.
• January 19th: Provider performed planned maintenance, affecting the link between Svappavaara - Junosuando.
• January 19th: Sunet performed emergency maintenance to troubleshoot an issue with power fluctuations on multiple wavelengths passing through the UPA site.
• January 18th: Provider performed circuit rerouting in Göteborg. No outages were observed.
• January 16th: SUNET performed an emergency maintenance to correct the optical path in Trelleborg. 
• January 16th: SUNET performed network maintenance in Stockholm, moving optical wavelengths. The links between Stockholm - Örestad and Stockholm - Umeå were affected.
• January 14th: Provider performed a fiber maintenance between Stockholm - Överby that affected several services traversing this path.
