Sunet Trusted Certificate Service (TCS)

In 2007, SUNET joined the TERENA Server Certificate Service (SCS), enabling us to provide server certificates issued by GlobalSign. That service was active until April 9, 2010 and was 2008 replaced by the TERENA Certificate Service (TCS) with server and personal certificates provided by Comodo CA Limited.

From July 2015 we are using the new Trusted Certificate Service (TCS) tenderered for by TERENA (known as GÉANT after the October 2014 merger with DANTE and a name change in May 2015). This time, Digicert has been chosen as the provider. This service is available from 2015-04-10 and is the only one offered from 2015-07-01.
