Identity Provider Discovery
A discovery service is used to allow users to pick their own Home Organisation IdP.
Services and Endpoints
Since june 2020 SWAMID has the following recommendation regarding Discovery Services:

Test
There is also a test discovery service that in addition to swamid-2.0.xml contains everything in swamid-testing-1.0.xml which can be used for test and pre-production use.
